How To Kickflip | Skateboarding Trick Tips for Beginner Skateboarders

This is a fundamental tricks that every skateboarder should know how to do, because so many other trick come from knowing how to do this trick well.
Learning how to kickflip is probably one of the first skateboarding tricks you'll want to land, but before this trick can happens, you will first have to learn how to Ollie. Once you've got that, then you can move onto kickflips.
Spend some time watching how PJ Ladd does kickflips in the video below, and then go outside and try a few out for yourself, so that you can learn them too.

How To Do A Kickflip
- Back foot is in the same position as your ollies
- Front foot is in a 45 degree angle
- Kind of have your front foot in a tippy toe position
- Crouch down and getting ready to pop
- POP it like it's hot and jump up
- Flick your ankle and your toe in the top corner of the board where the board has that little dip
- TIP: Flick your foot down for a couple tries and flick your foot straight out but still towards the corner of the board a couple times. Use what works better.
- Work on catching those with your back foot
- Roll away smiling :)

The best way to learn kickflips is to go as fast as you can and flip it as hard as you can off a flight of stairs. Jk their is some useful advice here though, seriously.

lol when i skate in a normal speed i can do one flip but when i go fast i can do 2 flips and land is mad crazy but yeah. im trying heelflip is hard. im goofy lol almost everyone that i skate they are regular.

Nice video this is the one that helped me learn how to do a kickflip. I am looking to get my kickflips a little cleaner. Mine are better than most people's but im not fully satisfied with them yet. Thanks for the great vid i bet it will help alot of other people too!
